
Hemp is a crop that carries great potential and can be used for a multitude of things. The stalk can be used for biofuel, paper, cloth, building materials and more. The seed can be used as feed/food or can be processed as oil for lotions. Every growing season, the Lee Lab will be conducting hemp agronomy trials which are duplicated for fiber and grain. The trials will focus on nitrogen rate, soil preparation x target population, planting date, and variety trials.
