The Illinois Department of Agriculture hosted the 2024 Illinois Hemp Summit in Springfield, IL. DK and Dana were given the opportunity to present our hemp research to other researchers and professionals in the field and a time to talk to government officials regarding hemp in Illinois.
This year Dana will be at the Farm Progress Show in Decatur IL on Tuesday, August 29th. 2023 is the first time that hemp has been apart of the show. So come on out and learn about hemp and the many things it can do.
This year we partnered with the IDOA, Division of Cannabis Regulation, at the Illinois State Fair. We had many people by the tent and hemp plot asking many questions about the industrial hemp field. We were able to educate the onlookers about state regulations and the importance of industrial hemp.
Dr. DK Lee and everyone within his program would like to thank everyone who was able to come out for this year’s Hemp Open House. Even with this year’s hard beginning we were able to showcase some of our research and answer questions from the public.
