Jinwook (JK) Kim

Jinwook Kim (JK) is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Environment (iSEE) at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He received his Ph.D. in Crop Science from the University of Lleida in Spain and his MSc. in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Wageningen University in the Netherlands. He conducted research at the University of Guelph in Canada as a postdoctoral researcher and is currently continuing his research at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, focusing on agrivoltaic (SCAPES) and SMARTFARM projects, while also partially assisting in the greenhouse hemp research projects. His main research interests include source-sink dynamics and phenotypic plasticity of crops in response to environmental changes. He aims to establish connections between his research interests and current projects.
