Nictor has an M.S. in Land and Water Management and a BS in Management of Agro-ecosystems and Environment both from The University of Nairobi. His research focuses on understanding of the long-term yield dynamics of Miscanthus and Switchgrass. Additionally, he is actively engaged in monitoring crucial environmental indicators, including water quality, CO₂ and N₂O emissions, and carbon sequestration benefits derived from bioenergy crops.
