Farm Technician

Mary is a field research specialist for the Institute of Sustainability, Energy, and Environment.  She has a degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from the University of Illinois.  Mary has been gaining research experience for seven years and has been working in the Lee Lab since 2020. Her main role is managing field sample collection and processing for the SMARTFARM (Systems for Monitoring and Analytics for Renewable Transportation Fuels from Agricultural Resources and Management) project. The field sampling includes soil, plant biomass, water, and soil greenhouse gas flux.
