Jung Woo has a B.S. in crop science from the University of Illinois. He is currently a Ph.D. student and a member of the CABBI (Center for Advanced Bioenergy and Bioproducts Innovation) project. His research focuses on sustainable bioenergy crop production and ecosystem services. He investigates greenhouse gas emissions, soil composition, and in sorghum and perennial energy crop production fields. Also, he works to improve both indoor and outdoor cannabis productions for fiber, grain, and cannabinoids.
