Hemp Growth Update (May 30)

As we continue to track the growth of the hemp, you can notice that the plots are getting fuller and growing more in spots that used to be bare. Below is a video that gives you a better view of the field and of the various trials.

Hemp Growth Update (May 20)

Here is another update showing growth progress of our hemp. As you can see, we have made the alleys more defined and have tilled off the excess so that each trial has the same amount of space for growth comparisons.

Nursery Transplanting

Here you can see our field crew transplanting hemp into one of our grain variety nursery locations. We used a measuring tape to mark where the plants will go to ensure even spacing between plants.

After the drought

Fertilizing

Fertilization application in the hemp nitrogen rate trial As you can see in the photo each plot has its own bag with fertilizer due to the different rates throughout the trial. The fertilizer is applied by evenly spreading it out across the plot by hand.
